Cecilia Modu Wallace

Mrs. Cecilia Modu Cole Wallace, age 76, of Stockbridge, GA passed away February 23, 2016. Mrs. Wallace was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone the daughter of the late Mabel Rhoda Taylor Cole and Charles A. Cole. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Victor Cole. Mrs. Wallace graduated from the University of Liberia and from UCLA with a Masters in Hospital Administration. She was a beauty queen for the 1968 class from the University of Liberia. Mrs. Wallace enjoyed spending time with family and friends, her work, traveling, and cooking. She was known for her independence and determination to become successful in a male-dominated world. Mrs. Wallace was a take control individual who could always get the job done. Survivors are her husband of 40 years, Isaac Wallace of Stockbridge; children, Mabel Jackson of Maryland, Lionel Kennedy of Jonesboro, Leslie Kennedy of NC, Budusie Wadae Flectcher of AL, Budusie Kadae Barreto of NJ, and I. Wenceslaus Wallace Jr. of Stockbridge; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; siblings, Norman Cole, Victoria Dempster, Robert Cole, Julianna Cole, Ursula Cole, Christina Johnson, Jacqueline Bennett, Patricia Adadevoh, and Vera Cooper.
