Charles W. Lancaster, age 77, of Madison, formerly of McDonough passed away December 16, 2015. Charles was born in DeKalb, Texas the son of the late Willie Lucille Wells Lancaster and Curtis Lancaster. He was also preceded in death by ten siblings and a grandchild, Shannon Lancaster. Charles enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cars, singing and playing his guitar and watching western TV shows. He was a member of the McDonough Masonic Lodge. Survivors are his wife of 60 years, Clara Lancaster of Madison; children, Tommy Lancaster of Stockbridge, Terry Lancaster (Wanda) of McDonough, Debbie Moore of Madison and Tim Lancaster (Valerie) of McDonough; grandchildren, Marty, Tiffany, Autumn, Danny and Gabryel; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Wilbur Lancaster (Mary) of Tallapoosa, GA. A memorial service for Charles Lancaster will be on Sunday, December 20, 2015 – 5:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Seabolt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 4 – 5:00 PM.
