Charles Andrew Long

Charles Andrew "Andy" Long, age 40, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018. Andy was born April 20, 1978 to E.M. and Shirley Long. Mr. Long was an all around musician, and had amazing vocals, composed music, and played multiple instruments. SiLo, the band he played with, played many gigs around Atlanta from the Masquerade to the Tabernacle. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Jean Morgan Long. Andy is survived by his wife, Jennifer Long; father, E.M. Long; stepmom, Delores Long; Sisters, Alice Holtzclaw and Beth Long; twin brother, Matt Long; mother- in- law, Terry Peabody; father-in-law, Tom Brannon; sister- in- law, Julie (Rob) O'Neill; brother- in -law, Samuel (Casey) Brannon; nieces and nephews, Wesley, Merrick, Joseph, Benjamin, Gabriella, Robert, Emily, Abigail, Paul, McKenzie, and Peyton; fur babies, Falkore and Meathead; and a host of friends. Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 12:00 PM.
