Mr. Dean Michael “Mike” Patty, age 56 of McDonough, Georgia passed away January 9, 2016. He was born in Ringgold, Georgia to Doris Swain Patty and the late W.R. Patty. Mike worked for ABF Freight for 30 years and was a member of the Teamsters. He enjoyed fishing, building cars and riding with the Ying Yang’s. Survivors include his mother, Doris Swain; siblings, Doug Patty, Beth Patty, Lori (Bob) Schutzbach, John Patty, Steve Patty and Jane (Steve) Patty Kill; nephews and nieces, Rob Schutzbach, Andrea Schutzbach, Kendal Moore, Zack Wranosky, John Victor Patty and Mark (Tanya) Heardman; great nephews and niece, Wyatt Moore, Ryder English, Blake Heardman and Melissa Heardman; the Swain and Barnhart families. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 6:00 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Ricky King will officiate. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. Contributions are asked to be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Mike.
