Mrs. Debbie McCormick Chappell, age 60, of McDonough, GA passed away February 24, 2015. Debbie was born in Pontiac Michigan the daughter of the late Delma Rhea McCormick and Edward Gene McCormick. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, spoiling her grandchildren, shopping, painting, crafts and was known for being a good cook. Survivors are her husband of 25 years, Mike Chappell of McDonough; children, Brandon Chappell of McDonough and Brittney Gause (Jason) of Jackson; three beautiful grandchildren, Addyson Gause, Brayden Chappell and Anniston Gause; siblings, Ronnie McCormick (Anita) of Madison, AL; step mother, Edith McCormick of Madison, AL; step brother, Chuck Wells (Alisa) of Meridianville, AL; step sister, Vickie Wells of Huntsville, AL.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Debbie will be Thursday, February 26, 2015 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Westminister Cemetery in Peachtree City.
