Deborah Ann Sillman, lovingly known by family and friends as “Debbie,” passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on June 11, 1955, Debbie was the daughter of the late Donald Conley Buzzard Sr. and Mildred June Buzzard. She was also preceded in death by her brother Don Buzzard Jr. and sister Donna Mae Dietz. Debbie is survived by her daughter, Michelle Smith and husband Kevin; her son, Michael Sillman and wife Britney; and her cherished grandsons, Connor and Mason Sillman. She is also survived by her sister Kim Brown, brother Bob Buzzard, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Debbie lived her life with a big heart and a love for the simple joys that made every day special. She was an avid softball player and fan, always ready for a good game and the camaraderie that came with it. Her adventurous spirit shone brightest when she was traveling—she loved nothing more than getting in the car and seeing where the road would take her. A devoted grandmother, Debbie could often be found cheering from the sidelines, watching her grandsons play football with immense pride. She had a deep love for animals, especially hummingbirds, and found peace in the beauty of nature. Debbie also enjoyed cozy movie nights and celebrating the holidays, which she made magical for everyone around her. Her laughter, kindness, and sense of adventure will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia, where family and friends will gather to share memories and honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
