I remember learning how to make homemade gravy. Dixie told me I was doing it wrong, to move out the way, she show me how to do it right and hers always tasted so much better then mine. So when she was around I would mess up just so she could make it. The stories her and my mama have told me they was a handful and they are a handful again together up there. Love and miss you miss lady.

I moved to Locust Grove, Georgia 24 years ago. Dixie was my first friend that I met. We actually worked at Burger King together. We have been great friends for 20 years. Some people may not know the tribulations and pain she has suffered with. A defination of tribulations is "tests of one's patience and endurance". And I want to shout out to everyone that my dear friend Dixie Hill showed patience and endurance. She was good hearted and she always had a way of making people smile. The love that she had for her son Levi was one of a kind. Words cannot even express my sorrow. I love you Dixie and I will never forget you. To Dixie's family may my condolences ease the pain of your loss. I offer you my thoughts and prayers during this dark time in your life.

I have so many very fond memories of Miss Dixie that just trying to pick one would be almost impossible. I can say that some of the very best times we shared though were sitting around playing games and just talking. You will be missed so much but at least now you don't hurt, have no pain, and are in a better place. I will see you again one day. I love you always.

I remember all the times we all had, me, Dixie, Jackie, Gigi, Patti, Pam and several more would skip school and walk the rr tracks from McDonough to Locust Grove. Boy those were the good ole days. Rest easy my friend until we see each other again. I love you and will miss you.

I met Dixie when she worked with my son Michael Joyner. Later she worked at the
K mart where my daughter Kim worked. I loved our little weekly visits. Dixie was a sweet, caring, loving person. She always talked about her son Levi. She was a proud momma. Then came her grandsons that she loved so much. I know she will be truly missed by all her family and friends. My sincere condolences and prayers for each of you.
RIP sweet lady.
