Mrs. Dixie Lieb

Mrs. Dixie Walters Lieb, age 82, of Hampton, GA passed away August 21, 2018. She was born in Atlanta, Ga the daughter of the late Odie Lee McKinney Walters and Charles Barton Walters. Mrs. Lieb was also preceded in death by siblings, Charles Walters, Maxine Stallings, Betty Henderson and Carole Corley.

Mrs. Dixie, also known as Maw-Maw Dixie to most children, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, teaching preschool children and nursery at church, working crossword puzzles, word finds and putting puzzles together. She was a member of Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church. Survivors are her daughters and son-in-law, Tracey and Jay Fuller of Hampton and Diane Ballenger of Morrow; grandchildren, Danny Ballenger, HaLee Ballenger, Megan Fuller Cash and husband John, and Trey Fuller; great grandchildren, Zaydan and Aria Ballenger; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 27, 2017 from 5:00 - 6:00PM. Memorial service will be at 6:00 PM in the chapel with Pastor Jay Fuller officiating. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southern Grace Hospice or Golden Crest Assisted Living Morrow location.
