Donald Edward Ferguson

Mr. Donald Edward Ferguson, age 66, of Locust Grove, GA passed away July 22, 2017. Don was born in Atlanta, GA the son of the late Lois Tuggle Ferguson and J B Ferguson. Don retired as an auditor from ING. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, his pets, playing the guitar, banjo, keyboard and other musical instruments. Don was known for his laugh and sense of humor, his knowledge of the computer and being able to fix anything. Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Glenda Ferguson of Locust Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Tonya Ferguson of Locust Grove; daughter, Kelly Ferguson of Locust Grove; grandson, Kendall Minshew of Locust Grove; granddaughter, Taylor Minshew of Locust Grove; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Paula Ferguson of Locust Grove; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Wayne and Becki Buffington of Covington, GA; niece, Deena Scott and husband John of Conyers; and nephew, Jesse Buffington of Conyers. A memorial service for Don will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Clark McPherson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to ALS in Don’s memory.
