

Donna dedicated much of her career to Southern Regional Hospital, where she retired as an Administrative Assistant. Her colleagues and friends admired her dedication, kindness, and love of the lord. Beyond her professional life, Donna was known for her love of crafting, her affection for the color purple, and her fascination with hummingbirds. She also delighted in trying new recipes and sharing them with family and friends. Her two cherished cats brought her great joy and companionship.
Donna was an honorary Veteran, a title that symbolized her deep respect and connection to those who served their country. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and creativity, traits that touched everyone around her.
She is survived by her father, Thomas Beavers of McDonough, Georgia; her sisters, Becky Hutchins of McDonough, Georgia, and Patricia Crawley of Stockbridge, Georgia; her granddaughter, Madison Bailey of Forsyth, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored. Donna was preceded in death by her mother Liz Beavers, her three brothers Durall, Edward, and Eugene Beavers, and her beloved son, Thomas Bailey.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Haisten Funeral & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor her memory from 11-1 for visitation with service following. Graveside service will be held at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a local animal shelter or crafting organization in Donna’s name, reflecting her love for animals and creativity.
Donna will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend who brought joy and light to everyone she met. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved her.
