Doris Ballenger Butler

Mrs. Doris Ballenger Butler, age 85, of Jenkinsburg, GA passed away March 23, 2018. Mrs. Butler was born in Dora, AL the daughter of the late Luda Mae Dean Ballenger and Pious Ballenger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Levon Butler and siblings, Mardie Phillips, Freeman Ballenger, Delaney Ballenger and Joy Mae Phillips.

Mrs. Butler enjoyed spending time with family and friends, flowers and her flower and vegetable gardens, and shopping. Survivors are her children, Danny Butler (Teresa) of Jenkinsburg, Donna McIntosh (Bill) of Fayetteville, Gary Butler (Sharon) of Jenkinsburg, and Larry Butler of Jenkinsburg; grandchildren, Heather Cargile, Erin Brock, Amanda Eden, Kimberly Henkel, Shaun McIntosh, Josh McNorton, and Pam Watson; great grandchildren, Hannah, Olivia, Emma, Kieran, Jaden, Haygan, Ryann, Harlan, Heidi, Skyler, Colin, Corey and Brianna; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Jayce and Paisley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Amanda Eden officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Jonesboro, GA.
