Doris Ann Durmire, age 81, of Stockbridge, GA passed away on January 18, 2019. Doris was born in Porterdale, GA to the late James and Elma Britt. She is also preceded in death by her husband Huellon Paul ,her son Richard, grandson Jason and brothers; Johnny Britt,Sr and Jack Britt.
Doris loved to bowl and was an avid country music fan. Her passion for traveling enabled her to visit every state in the U.S. What Doris loved most was family.
She is survived by her sons; Ronald (Beth) Durmire and Robert (Alisa) Durmire, daughter Kathy (Doug) Garrett, daughter-in-law Shelia Durmire, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren as well as her cousins Mary Dowda and Clyde King.
A visitation for Doris will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Haisten Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11:00 am. Committal services will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
