Doris King Mosley

Doris was a devoted wife and mother while she served her church in multiple ways such as Ladies Class teacher, Sunday School teacher for grades 1 through 6, and Personnel Committee member. She retired from Clayton County Board of Education after dedicating 35 years of service.

Doris is preceded in death by her beloved husband Bobby Jean Mosley, their son Larry Wayne Mosley, and eight siblings.

She is survived by her two sons Mark Edward, Gary Anthony, and her daughter in law (Gary’s wife) Angela Tracy Mosley. Her grandchildren Allison (husband Brian) Rickard, Trevor (wife Giselle) Adamson, and Lindsay Morgan. Her seven great grandchildren are Tristan Engelman, Hayden Brown, Christian Adamson, Asher & Archer Rickard, Layla & Scarlett Morgan. Also, many nieces & nephews.

Services for Doris will be at Haisten Funeral Home on Monday, March 24, 2025. Visitation from 10am to 11am and service from 11am to 12pm. The graveside service will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens – 6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, Georgia. The family is requesting family only at the graveside service.
