Doris June Pate passed on October 10, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on March 24, 1936, to the late Collie Dee and Naoma "Polly" Dickinson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband Edward "Dan" Findley, and by her second husband Willard E. Pate; her brother Gary "Max" Dickinson; and her son Barry D. Findley.
Doris is survived by her son Alan "Dale" (Susan) Findley; three grandchildren Joshua D. (Destiny) Findley, Alycia I. (Jordan) Hart, and Kathrine M. Scheibel; five great grandchildren Nala, Oakleigh, Dallas, Wesley, and Henry; and several beloved family members.
In lieu of flowers the family asks you to make donations in her honor to an alzheimer's / dementia association / charity of choice.
The family will greet friends Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, at Haisten Funerals & Cremations. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Haisten Chapel at 10:00 am. The Committal will be after services, at Eastlawn Memorial Park.
