

Mrs. Dorothy Lusk Iler, age 85 of Mansfield, Georgia passed away December 30, 2016. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Roy Wesley and Ernestine Bessie Adkins Lusk. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Albert Iler and a sister, Barbara Jean Daniels. Dot Dot, as she was known, had been employed by AT&T, the Riverdale Police Department and Riverdale Florist. She and her husband owned and operated two hotels in Panama City, a dry cleaners and laundromat and a cable company. She enjoyed staying busy, always on the go, traveling, cruising, spending time with her family and was an avid reader. Survivors include her children, Richard Iler and Vicki (Wayne) Adams all of Mansfield; grandchildren, Kevin C. Smith of Mansfield, Melissa Walker of Covington and Leslie (Kenny) Meatows of McDonough; great grandchildren, Desi Evans, Ali Walker, Tyler Meatows, Charlie Walker, Cody Meatows and Jake Meatows; brother, Bill (Mary) Lusk of Jackson. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 4, 2017 – 1:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Craven will officiate. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
