Mr. Douglas Clark Price, age 54, of Jackson, GA passed away November 23, 2015. Doug was born in Marietta, Georgia. He retired from Georgia Power as an electrical engineer; Doug enjoyed spending time with family and friends, coaching his sons in all of their sports activities, hunting, fishing, the beach and golf. Doug was an avid Georgia Bulldog, Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Lee Price and a stepfather, Fred Whalen; brothers, David and Dwayne Price. Survivors are his sons, Dustin Price (Jo) of Madison and Kyle Price (Candace) of Woodstock; grandchildren, Daphne, Delilah, Tyson and Harper Price; mother, Jane Whalen of Blairsville; brother, Daryl Price (Susan) of Blairsville; mother of his children, Martha Price of Hampton; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 28, 2015, 1 – 2:00 PM prior to the service. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.
