Although born in Atlanta, Georgia, Doyal called McDonough home for the past 45 years, where he built a life filled with family, friendships, and countless memories.

His warmth, humor, and fellowship made Sunday mornings a little brighter for everyone who crossed his path.
Doyal loved fishing, gardening, and, most of all, spending time with his family. He took great pride and joy in his garden and was well known for growing some of the best cucumbers, peppers, collard greens and tomatoes around. His garden was a reflection of his patience, hard work, and love for the simple pleasures of life.
Whether sharing the fruits of his labor or enjoying time outdoors, gardening was one of the many things that brought him happiness.
Doyal also had a special talent for keeping people on their toes with a good riddle. He loved making people think, laugh, and sometimes scratch their heads trying to figure out the answer. His humor and playful spirit were part of what made him so special to those who knew him.
