Eddie Earl Reeves, age 72, passed away on August 24, 2026 at Emory Hospice in Atlanta. He was born May 1, 1954, in Griffin, Georgia to the late James T. Reeves and Vivian Turner Reeves. Eddie was a Forest Park High School graduate and an avid outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Reeves. Mr. Reeves is survived by his brothers, Tommy Reeves and Harvey Reeves; and 5 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 - 2:00pm at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough followed by A Celebration of Life at 2:00pm in our chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin, Georgia.
