Mr. Edgar Cuervo Diaz, age 78 of McDonough, Georgia passed away January 26, 2015. He was born in Colombia to the late Miguel Ulises Cuervo and Blanco Nir Diaz. Edgar was a parishioner of the Catholic Church and was retired from Tyson Chicken. He enjoyed watching sports on television, especially soccer and going out to eat. Survivors include his children, Edgar Cuervo of McDonough, Sonia Nunez of McDonough and Edgar Adolfo Cuervo of Mexico; five grandchildren; sister, Blanca Cuervo of Colombia; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 7:00 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service.
