Eloise S. Ridgeway

Mrs. Ridgeway was Valedictorian of the Hampton High School Class of 1942. She was a Christian woman and a member of Berea Christian Church for 82 years. Always quick with a beautiful smile and a wonderful sense of humor, she was loved by all who knew her. She loved her church, her God, her Jim, and her family.

Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) Murray Ridgeway; sisters, Sarah and Marcia; brothers, William, Joe, Carson, Ray, and Jack. She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Charles) Winans and Karen (David) Perry; sister, Helen Greer; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Eric) Carlson, Bill (Jessica) Winans, and Justin Perry; great grandchildren, Haddon, Keller, Bryndis, Bered, and Ryker; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ridgeway will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 3, 2023, at Berea Christian Church, 37 Woolsey Road, Hampton, GA 30228, with Rev. David Fulton officiating. Interment will follow at Berea Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
