Emily Eugenia Jenkins

Mrs. Emily Jenkins, 74 of McDonough passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021. She was born in Porterdale, Georgia on August 30, 1946 to the late Ennis Leslie English and Eugenia Lily Hollingsworth. Emily enjoyed quilting, arts and crafts, baking and gardening. She is survived by her son, Tim Jenkins of McDonough and her daughter, Rebecca (Garfield) Chambers of Monticello. Ten grandchildren, Garfield (Brooklyn) Chambers, IV, Elijah (Faith) Chambers, Merle (Andrea) Chambers, Leah Jenkins, Lauren Jenkins, Natalie (Cannon) Xiong, Trapper Jenkins, John Chambers, Tanner Jenkins and Jesse Jenkins. Fourteen great grandchildren and two brothers, Ennis Leslie (Bonnie) English, Jr. of Griffin and Jimmy (Sarah) English of Jackson. The family will receive friends at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Encounter Life Church, 45 Mt Carmel Rd, McDonough, GA 30253. Greg Marsh and Garfield Chambers, III will officiate the service at 2:00pm at the church. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in McDonough, Georgia.
