Eunice Piper McCart

Mrs. Eunice Piper McCart, age 93 of Jackson, Georgia passed away March 12, 2016. She was born in Covington, Georgia to the late Otha Clarence and Pearl Lee Moss Piper. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.A. “Rosie” McCart and by siblings, Mary Lee Piper, Jesse Samuel Piper, Fred Clarence Piper, Emery William Piper, Eldred Alfred Piper, Alice Ellen Piper, Hazel Maud Gilbert, Etheline Piper and Madeline Upchurch. She retired after 25 years with American Mills and was the eldest member of Sardis Baptist Church. Eunice enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Barbara C. Patterson of Jackson, Stanley (Susan) McCart of Jackson, Nevelyn Renee McCart of Glasgow, Scotland, Stacy McCart of Jackson, Sammy (Susan) McCart of Jackson and Steven (Pam) McCart of Jackson; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and special caretakers, Sherry and Christina. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Lane Sanders will officiate. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Contributions are asked to be made to Longleaf Hospice in memory of Mrs. McCart.
