Mrs. Eva Mae Peacock Mathis, age 71, of McDonough, GA passed away January 26, 2018. Eva was born in Moultrie, GA the daughter of the late Dovie Lou Moore Peacock and Perry Daniel Peacock. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Peacock and a sister, Mary Grace Barnes. Eva enjoyed spending time with family and friends, her church and gospel music. She was a member of East Point Church of God. Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Joe Hunter of McDonough; granddaughter, Bria Perry of McDonough and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel with Rev. Dwayne Barnes and Rev. Edgar Waters officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at College Park Cemetery. Angie, Joe and Bria, We are so sorry for the passing of your Mom and Mimi. We are very certain she is dancing in Heaven with all our loved ones who were waiting with open arms and she feels no more pain and only happiness and joy.
