Mrs. Evelyn Gertrude Barlow, age 102 of Hampton, Georgia passed away on June 20, 2016. She was born in Dodge County, Georgia to the late Walter Lee and Maggie Lee Pierce Howell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Eldridge Barlow and by eight siblings. She was a seamstress for many years and came from a musical family. She enjoyed shopping, singing, playing the harmonica, working puzzles and Bingo. Survivors include her daughters, Betty Lanford of Hampton, Trecer Geraldine Graham of Hampton, Brenda (Gary) Russell of Monroe; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren; sister, Magalene Snow of Griffin; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 beginning 1:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Marion Prather will officiate. Interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City at 3:00 pm. Friends may visit the family Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
