Clara “Evelyn” Lester Dean, age 83, of Stockbridge and formerly of Milledgeville, passed away April 17, 2021. Born in Atlanta on April 7, 1938 to the late James Lewis Lester and the late Dorothy Inez Dickerson Lester, Evelyn was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Dean. Evelyn retired as an Independent Insurance Agent, and had lived in Milledgeville prior to moving to Stockbridge. She was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Kenneth Wilson of McIntyre, Stephen Wilson of Eatonton, and Michael Wilkins of Stockbridge; her grandchildren, Kindra Smith, Kory Wilson Smith, and Samantha Wilkins; and her great grandchildren, Courtney Smith, Madison Smith, Jakob Smit, Kinley Wilson and Sophia McGurk. She is also survived by her brothers Lamar Lester and Wayne Lester as well as nieces Lisa, Lyric, Merideth and Melissa.
