Evelyn Elaine Knight

Mrs. Elaine Ragan Knight, age 71, of Jackson, GA passed away October 16, 2015. Elaine was born in Randolph County, GA the daughter of the late Evelyn Kinchen Ragan and Eddie Ross Ragan. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Bill and Curtis Ragan. Elaine, a graduate of Bob Jones University, taught school all of her working career in Christian Education. She was a member of Peoples Baptist Church in McDonough, GA. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and enriching the lives of her grandchildren. Survivors are her loving husband of 46 years, Cuy Knight of Jackson, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Jill and Shawn Kook of Davison, MI, Joan and Ashley Cook of Locust Grove, GA and Joy and Tim Boggs of Fort Collins, CO; 11 grandchildren; sister, Barbara Rasmussen and husband, Norman of Bainbridge, GA; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, October 20, 2015 from 6 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Shawn Kook and Rev. David McCoy officiating.
