Frank Danial Sanders, age 78, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. He was born in Lake City, Florida on July 16, 1943 to the late David and Florence Sanders. Frank loved fishing with family and he enjoyed hunting when he was younger. He graduated from Lake City High School and he was a drywall supervisor working in the field for most of his life. Frank proudly served in the U.S. National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Billy Sanders, two sisters, Margaret Sanders and Barbara Sharp. Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife of 26 years, Elizabeth Sanders, children Frank (Tracey) Sanders, Jr. of Ft. Meyers, Florida, Darryl (Valerie) Butler of Alto, Michigan and Jason (Kristen) Sanders of Locust Grove, GA. Step-children, Donald (Elaine) Harden of Lake City, FL, Cindy (Mark) Boatwright of Lake City, FL and Matthew (Paige) Sowles of Easley, SC. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia.
