Franklin Dee Forrest Hazel

Franklin Dee Forrest Hazel, 90 of McDonough, GA passed away on October 29, 2025. He was born on November 17, 1934 in Experiment GA to the late Dee and Lizzie Hazel. He was also preceded in death by his son, Daniel Frank Hazel and siblings and their spouses, Joe (Pat) Hazel, Ruth (Frank) Crawford, Mary (Ben) Pryor and Nettie (Jerome) Engram.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Joyce Johnston Hazel, one son Fred Hazel both of McDonough, grandchildren Matthew (Maddie) Daniel Hazel, Michael (Alexis) Robert Hazel, Mitchell Steven Hazel, Jason Chance Hazel, Elise Gottlieb and Anna Marie DiPalma and one daughter-in-law, Beth DiPalma Parr and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 2:00pm on November 4, 2025 at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, located at 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. Funeral services will follow in our chapel at 2:00pm. Burial will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
