David made his career in the transportation industry. He was one of the unsung heroes who made sure the products we needed got to the right place. David spent 28 years with Yellow Freight with most of those being a driver.
In his younger years, David's love of motorcycles would find him in Daytona Beach for Bike Week. His love for the beach continued as he got older as did his time spent going on cruises and fishing.
David is survived by his son Phillip, his mother Carolyn, his brother Joey and sister-in-law Laura.
A visitation will be held on February 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, located at 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253 with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am. Pastor Jeff Clark will officiate.
A committal service will take place at Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Rd, McDonough, GA 30252
