Mr. Gethro Clyde “G.C.” Brown, age 71 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away June 27, 2017. He was born in Wilmington, North Carolina to the late Gethro McKinley and Civil Lee Brown. He was preceded in death by brothers, Kirby and Waldo Brown. G.C. retired after 47 years with ABCO and Atlanta Safety Brake and was a member of Trinity Family Worship Center. He enjoyed NASCAR and playing cards. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Lois Brown; children, Sandra (Bobby) Smith of Jackson, Danny Brown of Riverdale, Tony (Shannon) Brown of Locust Grove, Tina (Ashley) Jackson of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Damon and Steven Leftwich, Rachel, Danielle, Ryan, Chase and Chandler Brown, Chaz and Charlton Jackson; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, J.D. (Roseanne) Brown of South Carolina and Agnes (Roland) Ammons of Loganville.
