Mr. Gregory H. Turner, age 55 of McDonough, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, loving husband to Lisa Short Turner. Greg had a love for sports, including fishing, sports cars, and racing. He was filled with a wealth of useless information (trivia guy), but his favorite time was at the fishing cabin with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Greg is survived by his children: Eric Turner of California, Kyle Turner of McDonough, Devin Rivers of McDonough, Nikki Rivers of McDonough, Marie (Brady) Lovern of McDonough, and Ray Adamson of Hogansville; mother: Beatrice Turner; grandchildren: Mason Lovern, Riley Lovern, Ryleigh O'Neal, and Oliver O'Neal; brother: Chris (Trina) Turner of Florida; nephews: Daniel Turner and Brent Turner; and a host of family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation or Squad 82 Firefighter Support organized by Richard Ray LeCroy (gofundme.com). The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM at Haisten Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
