Mr. Harold Gene Black, age 77, of Mansfield, GA passed away July 29, 2015. Gene was born in Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Glenda Faye Murphy Black and a brother, Harry and a sister, Elaine. Gene served his country in the US marines for four years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, riding bikes, kayaking at Crystal River, Florida and pampering his dog “Sonny”. Survivors are his children, Deborah Riley (Jefferson) of Mansfield, Tammy Black of Crystal River, FL; and Hal Black (Robin) of Conyers; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
