Mr. Harrison Lee Bowers Jr., age 66, of McDonough, GA passed away May 25, 2014. Harry was born in Canton, Georgia the son of the late Harrison Lee Bowers Sr. and Angellee Whitmire Bowers. He was also preceded in death by a step brother, David Stephenson. Harry served his country in the US Army in Vietnam where he received a purple heart. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, bowling, fishing, coaching baseball and giving quarters to his grandchildren. Survivors are his children, Harriett Bowers of Buford, Lee Bowers of McDonough and Beth Bowers of Newnan; grandchildren, Hunter Moore, Evelyn Bowers and Baileigh Bowers; brother, Stanley Bowers of Peachtree City; several nieces and nephews.
