Hazel Loraine Crawford

Mrs. Hazel Loraine Rawls Crawford, age 85 of Hampton, Georgia passed away November 16, 2014. She was born in Waycross, Georgia to the late James Arthur and Pearl Strickland Rawls. Loraine was a member of the Morrow First United Methodist Church. She retired after over 20 years with the Federal Archives and Records. She and her husband were members of the Happy Good Sam Camping Club # 14 and the Lad’s and Lass’ Square Dance Club. She was an avid piano player and enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting and playing the organ. She was a beloved Memaw to her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Ralph J. Crawford of Hampton; sons and daughters in law, Barry and Susan Crawford of Hampton, Tim and Tracy Crawford of Canton; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Morrow First United Methodist Church with Dr. Ed Judy presiding. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the Morrow First United Methodist Church General Fund PO Box 143, Morrow, Georgia 30260 in memory of Loraine.
