Mrs. Helen Carol Dobbins of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away October 31, 2017. She was born in Hartsville, South Carolina to the late James Marion and Helen Marie Manders Smith. She was preceded in death by brothers, Hugh Rochelle Smith and Larry Mitchell Smith. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, getting pampered and Easter egg hunting. She was the care taker for her family and loved to have them all together for holidays and special occasions. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Curtis Dobbins; children, Sherry (Joey) Stanley of McDonough, Rick (Angie) Dobbins of Stockbridge, Donna Dobbins of Stockbridge and Jeff (Toni) Dobbins of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Sharon Dobbins, Stephanie (Shawn) McMichen of Jackson, Ashley (Tommy) Wright of Brooklet, Stacie Stanley of McDonough, Keith Dobbins of Stockbridge, Brittany Pike of Stockbridge, Amanda (Jared) Mullis of Jenkinsburg, Justin Dobbins of Barnesville, Lane Dobbins of Barnesville, Madison Pike of Stockbridge and Tyler Pike of Stockbridge; great grandchildren, Brayden, Hunter, Landan, Macie, Dylan, Ella, Brooklyn and Raelynn; sister, Teresa (Scott) Combs of McDonough; brother, Jimmy (Debra) Smith of Buchanan; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 – 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Combs will officiate. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisten Funeral Home of McDonough, www.haistenfunerals.com.
