Helen Darnell Hardin

Helen Hardin, 82 of McDonough passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020. She was born in Tyrone, Georgia on May 25, 1938 to the late Teddie and Opal Slaton. Helen was also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Slaton, her sister, Carey Ann Johnson, her son, Roger Dale Hardin and a granddaughter, Hillary Anne Wiseman. Mrs. Hardin is survived by her husband of 63 years, Melvin Hardin, children, Gary (Sally) Hardin of McDonough, Tim (Dawn) Hardin of Ringgold, grandchildren, Brantley (Brittany) Hardin, Jarred Hardin and Blake Hardin. Also, great grandchildren, Emma Woods, Annsleigh Speer, Dawson Speer and Flint Hardin, and a niece, Phyllis Gossett Johnson and a nephew, Rodney Johnson. David Ables will officiate a Graveside Service for Mrs. Hardin at 1:00pm on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park, Georgia. The family will receive friends also on Friday from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough.
