Helen C. Harvill, 89 of McDonough passed on August 22, 2026. She was born in Gainesville, Georgia to R.T. Cummings and Alice Bradley Cummings. Helen attended Gainesville High School and then worked about 26 years as a Business Manager for Dr. Barrett M. Hunter. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church where funeral services will be held on Thursday. Mrs. Harvill is survived by her husband, Avery of 65 years, children Pamela (Danny) Smith, Penny Cochran and Mike Harvill. She was "Mymomma" to grandchildren Shawn, Jessica, Drayton (Brittany), Kaley, Lauren and Alex and eleven great grandchildren. Helen is also survived by her siblings, Joyce Southers, Norma (Neil) Theilen and Bob (Ann) Cummings. The family will greet friends from 10:00am - 11:00am at Salem Baptist Church on Thursday, August 27, 2026 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00am. Mrs. Harvill will be buried on Friday at Temple Methodist Cemetery in Arnoldsville, Georgia.
