Mr. Henry Cephas Whitson, 92 of Jackson passed away on December 27, 2019. He was born in Townley, AL on January 20, 1927 to the late Henry Belton and Ethel Wyers Whitson. Mr. Whitson is survived by his wife of 72 years, Bettye Jo Hubbert Whitson, children David (Lynn) Whitson of McDonough, Judy (Larry) Wallace of Jackson and Leisa McGinnis of McDonough. Grandchildren, Christi (Dave) Olcott of Oxford, Jason (Laura) Whitson of McDonough, Jay (Tammy) Wallace of Senoia, Brandon Glaze of Tampa, FL, Jared (Carolann) Whitson of McDonough, Josh Whitson of Nashville, TN, Samantha Sledge of Deer Park, TX, Katie Whitson of McDonough and eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Three sisters, Frances (John) Moore of Winfield, AL, Ethelene Riley of Winfield, AL and Clare Ledbetter of Tallassee, AL. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the Funeral Home. Carl Reimold will officiate the Funeral Service in our chapel on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 11:00am followed by the interment at Eastlawn Memorial Park.
