

Jack grew up in Locust Grove, Ga, the younger son of the late Henry M Colvin, Sr. and Tommie L (Smith) Colvin.
On August 18, 2024, Jack was reunited in Heaven with his parents and nephew, Henry (Hank) Colvin III, after his long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Jack was a man that never met a stranger. He loved to share stories of growing up in Locust Grove where he attended elementary school. He graduated from Henry County High School and went on to study at Georgia Southern University, becoming a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
Jack’s personality was key to his success, starting with his first job as Personnel Manager of JC Penny Outlet to his time with Delta Airlines and later Avis Rent-A-Car.
Jack enjoyed spending time working in the yard, riding his tractor, going to the beach, and traveling.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Dianne (Walters) Colvin, his brother, Henry M Colvin Jr, wife, Claudia and his nephew David. His memory also lives on through his mother-in-law, Lenora A Walters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Travis and Juanita Owensby, Johnny and Annette Cheek and Tracy and Sharon Walters.
Jack’s life will be celebrated on Saturday September 7, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Haisten Funerals and Cremations in McDonough, Ga. Friends will be received from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that at donation be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
