Frank Jackson Patterson, age 92, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. He was born on June 29, 1932 in McDonough, GA to the late Fletcher and Odelle Patterson. Jack was also preceded in death by his brothers, David (Annie Ruth), Dewey (Colleen) and his wife Shirley. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a lifetime member of Timberridge Presbyterian Church. Mr. Patterson loved spending time with his family, dancing, golfing, shooting pool and barbecuing. He was a dairy farmer with his brother David for about 23 years and a mailman for almost 30 years. Jack was a member of both the American Legion and Moose Club for over 50 years. He is survived by his children, Tim E. Patterson and Kim (Gerald) Gilbert both of McDonough, grandchildren, Gina (Aaron) Zielinske of Dacula and Nicole (Andrew) Diaz of Epworth, seven great grandchildren, Krista, Jordan, Marcus, Aaliyah, Josiah, Chesney and Laramie, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held at 10:00am on Monday, January 20, 2025 with services to follow at 11:00am at Timberridge Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jack's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
