James Anthony Champagne Jr., age 75, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023. He was born in the Philippines on April 4, 1948. Jim was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and retired after almost 30 years as a pressman. He was a "jack of all trades" but he mostly enjoyed electronics and building things. Jim loved being outdoors fishing and working in the yard. He volunteered with Meals on Wheels in Henry County. Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years, Christine, son Jamie and (Amanda) Champagne, four grandchildren, Bailey Marie (Stephen) Hill, Makala Victoria Champagne, Jackson Champagne and Jordan Champagne and two great grandchildren, Everleigh and William Hill. Services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia.
