James David Cook

Mr. James David Cook, 76 of McDonough passed away November 16, 2019. He was born in Culloden, Georgia on March 22, 1943 to the late Vester and Hattie Cook. J.D. was a retired Major serving in the U.S. Army for 28 1/2 years. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Janet Cook, children, Steve (Susan) Cook of McDonough, Alan (Tanya) Cook of Nashville, Kevin Cook of McDonough, Thomas Truman of Brooklet and Cynthia (Lee) Hamilton of Cartersville and Jennifer Revell of Savannah. Seven grandchildren, one brother Eugene Cook of Milner and one sister, Marie (Sam) Elliott of Lyons. The family will receive friends from 11am - 1:00pm on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Haisten Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Riley will officiate a Celebration of Life in our chapel on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 1:00pm.
