James Harper Moseley

Mr. James Harper Moseley, age 89 of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away April 27, 2014. Harper was born in the Lorrain Community of Stockbridge to the late Charles Lawson and Savannah Fargason Moseley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Ford Moseley in 2004. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army during WWII and retired after 36 years with Georgia Power. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening and raising cows. Survivors include his son, Larry (T.J.) Moseley of Stockbridge; brother, Glenn (Karen) Moseley of Stockbridge; several nieces, nephews and in laws. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Pastor Rick Marson will officiate. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to Union United Methodist Church, 4600 Highway 138, SW, Stockbridge, GA 30281 in memory of Harper.
