Mr. James Alvis Rowe, age 47, of Hampton, GA passed away April 20, 2016. Jim was born in Chicago, IL. He worked most of his working career in the automotive field. Jim enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loving his grandchildren, fishing, hunting, and working on cars. Survivors are his wife, Lisa Rowe of Hampton; children, Jonathan Rowe of Hampton, Ariana Rowe of Fayetteville, Maegan Rowe of Fayetteville; step children, Ryan Green and Megan Green of Barnesville; grandchildren, Alyssa Kown, Savannah Rowe, Riley Rowe and Jaycie Smith; parents, James and Evelyn Rowe of Hampton; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Alan Kirkland of McDonough. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Saturday, April 23, 2016 beginning 1:00 PM at Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Berea Cemetery in Hampton. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary Kirkland to assist with funeral expenses.
