James Robert Snellgrove

James was reunited in Heaven with his parents John and Lovie Snellgrove and his beloved wife Mary Allen.

James honorably served his country in the United States Army. After his discharge in 1968 he would begin a career with Delta Airlines as a ramp agent and then moving to Estes Trucking and retiring as a "ramp rat".

James was a fan of both the UGA Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons as well as all things Harley Davidson.

He loved riding his bike and spending time with family and friends, provided they did not interfere with his 2pm Reese's break with Mary.

The memory and legacy of James lives on through his son James Snellgrove, daughter Becky Kay Snellgrove, bonus daughter Jennifer Whitfield, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A visitation for James will be held Monday, February 10, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Rd, McDonough, GA 30252.

Those attending are encouraged to wear your Harley attire in James's honor.
