Jane Ahl Fields

Mrs. Jane Ahl Fields, age 70 of McDonough, Georgia passed away December 24, 2016. She was born in Jesup, Georgia to the late James and Josephine Tyre Ahl. Jane was a member of the McDonough First United Methodist Church. She retired after 19 years with the Clayton County Board of Education and then worked as a receptionist for Premier Restoration. She enjoyed working puzzles, collecting Gone with the Wind memorabilia and was an avid reader. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Fields; son, Dan (Denise) Fields of McDonough; daughter, Malinda Fellows of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Jake Graves, Bret Fields, Kadi Fields and Aubrey Fellows; brother, James Ahl of Rutledge. Memorial services will be conducted Friday, December 30, 2016 – 1:00 pm at the McDonough First United Methodist Church. Rev. Bill Jackson and Rev. Rick Maeser will officiate. Friends may visit the family Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the McDonough First United Methodist Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society in memory of Jane.
