support. She received her education at C.B. Greer Elementary, Risley Middle School, and Glynn Academy High School. From an early age, Janice displayed a vibrant spirit, a kind heart, and a
natural ability to bring joy to everyone she encountered.
Whether it was her infectious laughter, her caring nature, or her gift for turning ordinary moments into cherished memories, Janice was truly a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Many may not know that she was ordained as a Pastor and later elevated to the office of Apostle. Her ministry led her to travel abroad, including missionary work in the Bahamas.
A hardworking and ambitious woman, Janice pursued her entrepreneurial journey in early childhood education, becoming the proud owner of two childcare learning centers. She later expanded her vision into other ventures, including a trucking company and a catering business, where her passion and dedication left a lasting impact on everyone she served. She was deeply committed to her work, but most of all, to her family and friends—always striving to make a difference and leave a positive mark on the world.
Beyond her professional and spiritual achievements, Janice was a woman of many passions. She found joy in reading, holistic health, cooking, and sharing laughter. She eagerly shared her gifts and knowledge with others and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether she was offering words of encouragement, exploring new ideas, or preparing meals for her loved ones, she embraced every experience in life with gratitude and love.
More than anything, Janice was devoted to her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She nurtured and cared for many children beyond her own, embodying the true meaning of
unconditional love. She cherished her relationships and was a source of strength, laughter, and unwavering support to all who knew her. Her love for her children, Rajeeyah and LeRoy
Muhammad; her parents, Irvin and Rasheeda; and her sister, Lawanda Muhammad, her nephews Diamond and Dontae knew no bounds. She took great pride in being a devoted daughter, sister,
mother, and friend.
Janice leaves to cherish her memory: her sister, Lawanda J. Muhammad; her children, Rajeeyah Jones and LeRoy (Sunita) Muhammad; her son and daughter-in-love, Demephion and Auzhia Graham; her beloved grandchildren, Khaleel, Karter, Akaira Muhammad, and GiaVonni Rose; her nephews, Diamond McDonald and Dontae Howard; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Rasheeda S. Muhammad and Irvin H. Muhammad, whom we find comfort in knowing welcomed her home with open arms.
Though the pain of her loss is profound, we find peace in the beautiful memories and legacy she leaves behind. Her spirit will live on in every shared story, every echo of laughter, and every act of
love inspired by her example.
We will forever carry her in our hearts. We will forever miss her.
