Jerry Dean Sims

Jerry Dean Sims, age 85 passed away March 23, 2018. Jerry retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Army. He was a Vietnam veteran in the 1st Calvary Division. Surviving family members are five children, eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Michael (Betty) Sims, Joy Gillespie, Betty Davis and Steve (Donna) Sims; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018 - 10:30 AM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin 45 minutes before the service. Interment will be at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia at 2:00 PM with full military honors.
