John William “Bill” Anderson age 83 passed away November 11, 2014. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be greatly missed. A proud US Army Veteran serving in the Korean War, Bill retired from AT&T after 40 years of service. Bill was a funloving man who loved his family immensely. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce Anderson of Jenkinsburg; daughters and sons in law, Brenda and Lee Bennett of Jenkinsburg and Janet and Fred Derochers of Morristown, TN; son and daughter in law, William Scott and Jeanna Anderson of McDonough; grandchildren, Justin Bennett, Christie Bennett, Ashlee Bennett, Steven Derochers, Stephanie Derochers, Matthew Anderson and Brooke Anderson; great grandson, Mason Bennett; sister, Margaret Coursin of Waycross and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the chapel. Interment will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
