John was a very funny man. I loved just sitting with him and talking about life. One night he played a whole tournament as the guy in sling blade... uhh huh... I laughed so hard because he didn’t crack a smile but stayed in character. I missed seeing him the past year, because he was a very special person. Kat loved him singing “What a wonderful World”.... a totally different voice that was beautiful. When I first met him he was riding his Harley and he hated the day that it just got to heavy for him. We love him and Jean and he will be truly missed.

He lives inside of his own heart. That's an awful big place to live in.”

John was an honorable man that could make you laugh and enjoy life. Kind to those in need and was a great cook/baker who shared what he made in the kitchen. He will be missed by all that knew him.
